In renovation everything is a mess; the elevator doesn’t work, neither does the pool, and outside on the back where the pond is, everything is overgrown… smells moldy.
The fridge was broken.
“Short stay, is a short statement for horrible.”
I had no running water, cable TV didn’t work, and the place smelled bad. My wife and I stayed in a room with no hot water and were charged $200.00 that night—definitely not worth it. Breakfast was poorly cooked, coffee had coffee grounds in it, and it was a horrible stay; I’ll never return, and I still haven’t received my refund. The location was okay for us; we only needed that one night until the storm passed. Power was out at home, so all the professional hotels were booked, which is how we ended up there. The only good thing was the location’s convenience.
“Disgusting & gross.”
The place looks like a horror movie set, reeks, rundown, dark and damp—just disgusting. The photos are misleading, and I won’t trust any booking site again.
“Very disappointed in this Wyndham Property. Would not recommend it.”
Parking was littered, grounds neglected, lobby doors open with huge fans on, and broken windows visible from the lot. The front desk was rude. The room was filthy, sheets had holes, no comforter, black hair on the floor and in the shower—though I’m a blond. The furniture seemed thrift‑store, dirty, with holes in the chair and couch. When I tried to put a Gatorade in the fridge, the whole unit fell out; the cabinet was broken, and a drawer was stuffed with dirty, smelly clothes. The woman at checkout walked away and never returned. The building was in terrible condition; after a 9‑hour drive we were exhausted and would have left. We went out to dinner and returned to find no one at the front desk to file a complaint. We’ve stayed at Wyndham Properties many times, but after this I’ll never stay there again. I took pictures and will try to upload. This hotel should not be part of the Wyndham Brand.
