The welcome was very friendly and attentive, with impeccable French; tea, scones, house‑made jam, and clotted cream were offered as a warm welcome. The charm of the house, the beauty of the garden and view, the calm, and the location were all superb. Nothing to add—keep the spirit and charm of your beautiful home.

Alice is a wonderful host, especially with breakfast, and she is prepared to help you with anything. The only issue I had was the stairs to the first floor, but that is to be expected in a 1700 building.

The location is great for exploring the North York Moors, and the old farmhouse is quiet with just two rooms, each having its own bathroom just outside the rooms. The host was fantastic, making great breakfasts with local produce and providing tea and cake on arrival in the pretty garden, offering very good value. As an old farmhouse, it has a very rustic feel and lacks some modern features of up‑market hotels such as TV and AC, which was fine for us.

The location is excellent; the host was fantastic, and tea and homemade cakes were brilliant. The breakfast, with homemade bread and marmalade, was lush, and I will definitely return. The only downside was not having tea‑making facilities in my own room.
