“Wir werden nicht wiederkommen”

We were quite pleased with the Schlossgut von Altlandsberg, but the breakfast situation was a let‑down: the website claimed we could book breakfast, yet when we asked, they denied it and suggested we eat at Netto instead. Watching TV at night was frustrating because only ARD was available, and the other channel kept going off in the second room we booked. Worse, we had to share that room with clothes moths—photos were taken—and when we brought it to the staff’s attention, they said nothing could be done. We paid 480 € for two rooms over two nights, and with no real service, that value just doesn’t add up. Altlandsberg offers few other lodging options, so the Schlossgut really exploits its uniqueness. “War wegen der Lage ik”

The location was perfect for me—really quiet—but the key system was a nightmare, and there was no hair dryer or fridge in the room.

“Für die geschäftliche Durchreise ok. Privat zu teuer.”

Everything was brand new, but the price‑to‑value ratio is off: a single‑occupancy double room costs the same as a double room, which makes no sense. When I requested a copy of the invoice in writing, I never received a response.

The location was good and the rooms were clean, but when we arrived to check in nobody knew we had booked through the platform; luckily there were still rooms available and we managed to secure one for €120 a night. The room and shower were tidy, though the décor was very minimal—no wardrobe, hair‑dryer, shower soap, or glasses, which are usually standard. They suggested a bakery for breakfast, a five‑minute walk away, because of our booking. It was a rather odd situation. In the evening we dined at the on‑site restaurant, which was highly recommended, with excellent food and very friendly staff. Overall, €120 for a night felt too pricey.

“Ein bisschen extra”

The accommodation was modern and well equipped, but breakfast couldn’t be booked because we were traveling via Booking. The whole site was fenced off for events, ruining the atmosphere, and we had no freedom to move around the grounds that evening.
