The room was quiet and clean, and I got a 20 % discount on my first order at the cafe. We were walking (no car) and the location wasn’t great for accessing food or local shops; we had to walk along a busy road that had no pavement or lighting for much of the way.

Everything was loved—from the décor to the internal and external pace, including the shared picnic‑style seats in the courtyard that are separate from the cafe. The views from our room were amazing, the shower was huge, and the kitchenette was perfect; a few salt and pepper sachets would have been a nice touch, but we appreciated the small jug of milk. Parking was plentiful, and it was quiet despite the main road outside. We stayed as a family of three for one night and found the accommodation and location absolutely beautiful; we’d highly recommend it. The only downside was the check‑out tone—it felt too early after a long day of walking; 11 am would have been better. A sheer curtain option would have been nice since the room overlooks the seating area/road; with the main curtains open, people can see straight through, so we couldn’t keep them closed for privacy and security.

The room was spacious, the bed comfy, and the pillows nice. Self‑catering was possible with a kitchen stocked with crockery, glasses, etc. A small flat‑screen TV with Sky was present. The bathroom was modern, with a walk‑in shower, and the furnishings were pleasant and good quality. Breakfast was not included, but there is an on‑site café and the breakfast there was very good; they even offered take‑away for guests. The staff were nice. Note that check‑in may be done remotely with instructions sent by email—having driven down from the Midlands, I hadn’t checked my emails! I would definitely stay again. The wardrobe facilities were limited, but that left more space in the room for items you might or might not need.

Breakfast was excellent, tasty, and the portions were generous. The rooms were immaculate, well‑appointed, newly decorated, with a kitchenette that was ideal and fully equipped. Kirsty and the café staff were friendly and helpful. No real criticisms.

The room was absolutely immaculate, well equipped, and the location was beautiful with friendly, helpful staff. We couldn’t fault our stay at all and would definitely return if we’re in the area again. The breakfast and coffee from the café were tasty too.
