“Some service and maintenance issues.”
the staff were nice. they looked after our case while we were out for the day. We couldnt check in early after being offered it via online pre-check-in link. It offered early checkin from 1pm for £25 and I selected this and provided card payment. As far as I know it went through but it wasnt confirmed. We arrived about 1.30pm but no early checkin was available, but allowed us to do a bag drop. We were located in secondary building. In the morning we found out the shower didnt work and we had to wait for someone to fix it. This caused a delay in our plans it and had to rush breakfast as we nearly going for the shuttle bus to the park. We did get a transfer to the park about 8am. we got there around 830am not aware the main park was not opening till 10am. I understand this is not the hotels fault but we were advised the only transfer time was 8am. When we came back from the park, the buikding we were in - my wife felt unwell due to a smell in the foyer. We did have to check out a day early due to family issues, we had advised reception staff and confirmed had to be completed with . This was done but housekeeping were not advised as they came by few times before 9am as we still getting ready and packing we, completed checkout at 10am. Smart TV provided in room but no internet connection to use properly, wi-fi was on pay per use but premium costs
The location and free breakfast were positives. I asked for a quiet room, but the commercial bins were emptied early in the morning, waking everyone up. Trucks were honking, and the horns had already started a day earlier.
The hotel’s location is perfect, everything is very close and easily accessible.

The rooms, common areas, pool, and staff were all clean and courteous. They even kept a bag of food for us a few hours before check‑in. There are plenty of parking spots and the area is quite quiet. The breakfast was a bit sparse, but given the price I paid, it wasn’t bad.

The beds were comfortable and the location unbeatable – a 20‑minute walk to Universal City Walk and a free shuttle to Universal that was fantastic. The room was spacious, parking was plentiful and we never struggled to find a spot. Breakfast was decent and if you asked you could still get the item you wanted five minutes before closing. However, there was a hole in the bathroom floor, the breakfast hall got jam‑packed during peak times, I spotted a cockroach once, and the rooms felt a bit dated and could use a refresh now and then.
