Everything was spotless, I had everything I needed, the staff was fantastic and made me feel welcomed – I’ll definitely come back. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like, so it’s a 10.0/10.
“A bed for the night”
The staff were friendly and genuinely interested in my stay, and the prices were very cheap for what you get. The place was a bit messy, but knowing the price and other reviews, we expected that. There was a bit of a smell in the upstairs halls, which isn’t very pleasant. If all you’re looking for is a bed for the night, it’s a solid bet.
“TAKE MY ADVICE AND DON'T HEAD TO THE KINGS HEAD.”
Nothing positive. I didn’t stay the second night and booked the Travel Lodge about a mile away. I tried contacting the owner with the number they supplied but they didn’t get back to me even though I left a message asking for a refund. It was the worst room I have ever stayed in. I was greeted by a dog running up to me barking as I entered the pub to check in. The room was a bit of a mess with a biscuit on the floor by the wardrobe and wallpaper peeling off the walls. The curtains were not big enough for the windows and the room was on a busy road.
“One night in Keighley”
The bed was comfy and the electric shower delivered hot water right away, but the room and bathroom décor were outdated, wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom and ceiling in the bedroom, a dog kept barking at me every time I entered the bar, and the hotel’s exterior needs a fresh coat of paint or renovation to look more appealing.
“Awful, dirty and unsafe and the owner was drunk and useless”
Nothing good; it was filthy. Everything was disgusting.
