“Muy buen sitio para pasar unos dias en madrid”
I love the location, the price, and the self‑check‑in.

DO NOT STAY HERE! On the day we arrived the place smelled of fresh paint and it was in a basement. We have a picture of the painter and evidence of complaint, and the property manager was not cooperative at all. I’ve been on the phone every day for a week to request a refund. Do not stay here.

The location was good. The strong damp smell, the very uncomfortable bed, and the sagging mattress were disappointing.

The location was fine. The check‑in system is all AI, more than 20 emails, everything confusing, a complex. And no one helped the only other two guests to arrive… everyone had the same problem. At 150 € a night they could have done better. The room is very small in size.

The best thing to highlight is, without doubt, the location. It’s in an excellent, safe, very central area, ideal if you want to see Madrid’s most iconic places. For me, that’s the main strong point and I think it somewhat justifies the price. The accommodation was clean and I have no complaints about that; everything was tidy and well maintained during my stay. I do think the interior quality and some room details don’t entirely match the price. I understand Madrid is a pricey city and rates rise in high season, but for what I paid I expected a slightly higher level of facilities and finishes. Some elements felt more like a lower‑category lodging or hostel. In my case, the room faced an inner courtyard, so it had very little natural light and was quite dark. Overall, it’s a good option if you’re mainly after an excellent location, safety, and a clean place to sleep after a day touring Madrid. If you want to spend more time in the hotel or value the room, natural light, and interior quality, the value for money may feel a bit short.
