The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant, but it was a pity that there was no hot water for washing during our stay.

The hotel was amazing: a huge room with a balcony and stunning views, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fantastic with a huge selection. The location was okay but there wasn’t much going on nearby, so we rented motorbikes and were able to see more places to eat a few kilometres down the road.

Sai Gon Ha Long Hotel is a beautiful property; we had an ocean‑view room that was delightful, Sun World and the night market are within walking distance, the staff are wonderful, and Dat, who works at the reception, went out of his way to help and support us—he arranged a car to drop us back to Hanoi and checked on us along the way to make sure we felt safe and comfortable; Dat, if you’re seeing this, thank you—people like you make traveling easy, especially for women!
