Sehr gute Lage und sehr freundliches Personal, aber Plastikbesteck muss nicht sein.

Good WiFi. Comfortable room despite it being bunked. Nice rooftop terrace. Good location, metro not that far, walkable, some landmarks at walkable distance. Good AC

Hive is funky. No cookie cutter business hotel. Has personality. They revel in the compactness. Room was really quite small (as advertised) but perfectly comfortable for us. Great shower. Breakfast area (free coffee!) very pleasant; service v good, friendly. Pizza looked good (we never got around to having it). Rooftop space was fabulous on the one day when we had good weather. A real bonus! Location in heart of George Washington University, a couple blocks to The Mall & Lincoln and Kennedy Performing Arts Center, A mile or so to the major Smithsonian museums, was perfect for our needs

The spot is great for reaching all the main attractions, and there’s a tiny pizza joint plus a lovely rooftop bar. I stayed in a king loft room, so there’s plenty of room, but the air conditioning in the bar and restaurant area was way too cold.

The staff, especially at the front desk, were fantastic, and the Egg white skillet omelette was amazing. The only downside was the restrictive pizza policy.
