It was rated exceptional because there are so few pet‑friendly motels that don’t charge ridiculously high fees to stay with a dog. The traffic noise from big trucks was a downside due to proximity to the highway, but that was unavoidable, so overall the stay was good.

I liked the pet‑friendly vibe and the bed was comfy, the TV was a decent size, and the shower head was excellent, but the room still needs a refresh and there were no plates, knives, or forks.

We had a very disappointing stay. We were bitten by bedbugs during the night and woke up with multiple bites and rashes all over our bodies. The room clearly didn't meet an acceptable hygiene standard. I have photos of the bites and rashes as evidence and want this matter addressed properly, including a refund and compensation.
