The only thing I can say is that the price was very cheap. The sheets and pillowcases may or may not have been changed, the room was littered with insect corpses, hair and trash with no sign of cleaning, there was no air‑conditioning and a noisy industrial fan was the only cooling, and while I can overlook missing towels or toilet paper, I wonder if the owner would even let himself stay there.

The hotel's new rooms are a major upgrade – modern decor and comfy beds make for a great night's sleep. However, it's a shame that the cleanliness of the rooms isn't always up to par – I found myself wishing the staff would keep a closer eye on tidiness.

The hotel's location was a major plus - it's right in the heart of the city, making it super convenient to get around. The staff were also really helpful, especially when I checked in late. My room was small but spotless, and the bed was surprisingly comfy. The only downside was the noise from the street outside, but it wasn't too bad and I managed to get a good night's sleep.
