I booked a solo apartment that met every need I had as a female traveler. The place was spotless and came with a fridge, toaster, water heater, microwave, and TV. The bed was very comfortable, and I could program the two heaters to my liking. It’s a bit far from the city centre, but buses 45 and 47 run directly there. A fire alarm went off in the building and I initially couldn’t locate the correct address, yet the owner was kind and patient, fixing all the small issues for me. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to explore Birmingham and the surrounding area.

The property’s location was fairly central to the places I visited. However, the heating was poor, the bed uncomfortable, and the shower’s water pressure was weak.

The accommodation was nice, cosy, clean, and tidy, and had everything I needed. Shops were nearby, from Lidl to an off‑licence, and there was a great African food van out back. I can’t fault it. The only downside was a bit more lighting at the back steps.
