The staff were wonderful and the breakfast had many options, and the room was good value for money, but some rooms had stains on the walls that should be fixed.

Having a 24‑hour reception was a real plus, though the bed felt cramped and the pillows were tiny until I asked for an extra one. The complimentary breakfast impressed me with four choices, and once they even served it at 11 a.m. as a special request; the staff were courteous throughout. The room felt cozy but not large, and the bathroom was similarly small, with a broken mirror lift and a busted toilet‑paper holder. Over three nights the towels never changed and housekeeping seemed to be on request only. The hotel sits a fair distance from the city centre and the nearest metro, but a bank, clothing shops and a grocery store are within walking range. They allowed us to store luggage, yet when I returned for a Coke I left in the fridge it had already been half‑drunk, though that was a minor issue. Carrying our suitcases up to the second floor had to be done manually.

Despite the language barrier, the staff were helpful and always available, and we didn’t encounter major issues. There were four breakfast types to choose from, which required ordering a day ahead; the variety stayed interesting over two days. For our last breakfast, they even packed a cold meal because we were leaving early. The beds and rooms were comfortable, and the facilities matched a 3‑star standard. The bathroom could have been better, but it was acceptable.

The location was decent on the right bank, close to the station, but for 40 € it was a poor choice. Everything was old and deteriorating; the shower cabin on the podium was dangerous—entering it was impossible. The beds were terrible, with wooden mattresses that had pits and bumps. It’s unclear why the rating is high, and the lack of renovation is concerning; I wouldn’t recommend it.
