The welcome was pleasant, but the place was not clean, the beds were terribly bad, and we had to keep asking for extra blankets.

Mr. Akheel was a wonderful host, very polite and helpful, giving us all the information on places to visit around Nuwara Eliya. Getting to the property was quite difficult; signage would have helped. I wasn’t satisfied with the “House Rules” displayed on site – they should have been shown at booking.

The host family was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate us. Breakfast was plentiful and the overall value was excellent.

Clean, dry, and free of humidity. However, the check‑in staff was unpleasant when we arrived at 10 pm due to road conditions, even though we had notified them beforehand and they said it was fine. The final stretch of road is tricky; avoid driving there. The beds are very hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. There is no heating, no breakfast, and everything you need must be brought because it’s far from amenities.

We stayed only one night. The welcome was great, and the family was very friendly and attentive. The facilities are good for the price. The outdoor setting is cozy, full of plants, and very quiet. It’s a bit far from town, but you can walk in about 20 minutes or take a tuk‑tuk. The two‑bedroom we had was quite hard, which some might like. Breakfast was delicious. The cleaning could be improved.
