Located in the heart of Santiago, Mercure Santiago Centro offers comfort and style with an unbeatable location. Situated opposite the National Library and next to Cerro Santa Lucía hill, it's close to La Moneda Palace and Plaza de Armas. The hotel features an outdoor pool, gym, and Amaranto restaurant serving local and international breakfasts. The Nimbus Lounge offers cocktails and Chilean wine with city views.

The beds are very comfortable. There was no water in the rooms.

The spot is great for heading out to tourist sites, the coffee is superb, and it’s close to the metro, Santa Lúcia market, and the city center—perfect for shopping! I highly recommend it. The room lighting could be a bit better, but that’s a minor thing.

The staff were attentive.

The place is well situated. The breakfast staff didn’t clearly communicate which items contained milk, which matters for those with intolerances. Also, if you wanted a tortilla, you had to wait until 7:00 a.m.; it wasn’t possible to order it earlier.
