The spot’s spot on, right next to the station and a big shopping district, so I didn’t bother with an umbrella even though it was pouring when I got to Himeji. Plenty of good restaurants in that area. The downside? No kitchen at all, and the bathroom sink doubles as a dish‑washing station. The mixed dorm feels like a public area, while the women’s dorm is tiny but at least private.

清潔で自由. 消毒液の匂いキツく、病院や歯医者、接骨院にいるみたいでした。食事も持ち込めるのですが、食べる気がしませんでした。２泊目は窓が開けっぱなしだったため、蚊にいっぱい刺され寝れませんでした。

Location was excellent. Easy access to train, food and castle. Not much ventilation in the dorm cubicleAdding a fan would be great upgrade

Staying with family in a whole building was great—no worries at all. The only hiccup was that the shower room and washbasin were on the second floor while the toilet was on the first, so moving up and down was inconvenient.
