“Just seemed to exhibit a lack of care on the cleanliness. Everything else was fine.”

When I got there I had to wait while the staff checked the already cleaned room—no problem, really. But when I finally entered, a big white pill was right in the middle of the floor, impossible to miss, and a rice‑crispy wrapper lay on the floor too. The tub plug didn’t work, the soap dispenser was broken, and a long black hair was hanging on the shower wall. The fire sprinkler was missing its trim piece, with the sprinkler poking out of a ragged hole in the ceiling. It all felt like a superficial cleaning. I also saw dishes piled up outside the room door, and those same dishes were still there when I checked out the next day.

There was a pool and the staff were friendly. The hotel was in the city center, close to events. However, the pull‑out couch was extremely uncomfortable. I was overcharged for parking, which was later corrected. No extra linens or towels were provided for our room, which had 3 adults and 1 child. The room wasn’t ready when we checked in. The food at the restaurant was okay. For what we paid, I would have expected better.

Everything worked, it was clean, and we could brew coffee/caffeine both with and without caffeine. We arrived as a group of 3, we were assigned 2 beds, and we didn’t have a third blanket.
