“Buon appartamento, belle escursioni a piedi, consigliato soprattutto se si ha un mezzo di trasporto”
The apartment is functional with a usable kitchen and set in the countryside. The air‑conditioners do their job well. Parking is excellent. In the area I recommend a visit to Mulino del Trabocco for those who love walking; there are several trails of varying difficulty suitable for families. You can also do nice walks starting from the inn without a car. The most disappointing part for us was the pool. As the owner explained upon arrival, it is a rainwater‑filled pool without chlorine, with a small filtering plant. So, besides being covered in algae, the water has minimal turnover and no additional chlorination. It might be interesting for some, but for a family with small children, in my opinion, it is not ideal. Luckily there are inexpensive, well‑maintained municipal pools nearby; we went to the Piscina Comunale di Jesi. The fridge is small and has limited cooling capacity, like the old under‑counter fridges from a few years ago. We were unlucky, but even keeping the doors closed as much as possible (for the air‑conditioners), we found two scorpions in the kitchen on two different days; clearly, being in the countryside, seeing some extra wildlife is normal, but I think it’s useful information for other guests. The bed in the room was too short for a tall person; in this case, the best alternative is to use the sofa bed in the living room. If you’re in Montecarotto, you’ll have a car available, but keep in mind that the recycling bins are about 450 m from the house, so walking there isn’t convenient.
