Wakka offered a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience and a welcome break during a long tour of Japan. Before our stay, the staff—especially Musaa—gave great advice about the Shimanami Kaido route. After a long bike day (we did the route in one go), we arrived at Wakka. The tent was very atmospheric, the toilets were very clean, and we shared them with very few people. The bonus was the premium barbecue at the tent, which completed the experience. Nothing to mention.

The view was beautiful and distinctive, and our room type suited a group well. The private bathroom was a bit cramped and the door could be hit easily; the price was high, and it would be better if the welcome tea could be served hot when it rains.

The room was lovely and the view amazing, but the food options were limited.
