The kitchen supplies were a bit lacking.

The location was great. The restaurant was closed, and we were only told about that a day before arrival via SMS. It wasn’t mentioned during booking; if we’d known, we’d have picked another hotel. Breakfast items were left in the apartment when we arrived: some corn flakes, half a can of milk, bread, eggs, coffee, and tea. The spa and wellness claim was misleading— only one sauna was available, and it was reserved for the first guest to book.

I liked the quirky and interesting spot to stay at, but the kitchen could have used two burners.

The atmosphere was great and the old house was lovely, though it was a bit cold in September. The staff were tidy and friendly. The restaurant was closed, but the kitchen was stocked with plenty of breakfast supplies.

The accommodation was excellent and suited our road trip; I recommend it. The beds were good. You should book a room with a sea view; we had a kitchen, not sure if that was a coincidence. Breakfast lets you start early, don’t expect delays. It would have helped to get information about the sauna.
