Arriving at 4 am, the express check‑in was a relief, and parking right in front of the hotel was free because it was a weekend. The room’s AC was a struggle; it was 25 °C when we got in. The place needs better signage – there’s only a small “AL” sign that wasn’t very visible at night. The pillows were low, and the toilet is outside the room. The next morning, after taking a shower, I found a used soap in the shower basket that wasn’t obvious; that’s something to improve. The toilet, with no windows, smelled of mold upon arrival.

The location is good, even a café is right next door, making it a solid choice for a one‑night stay before the Paiva Passadicos walk. The only downside is the lack of a window.
