The place, which you could not call a pension, sits on a very noisy main street. At night the house cat screams pitifully, making any restful sleep impossible. It’s simply irritating and rude. Breakfast, if one can even call it that, was the worst! On the first day we were asked how many rolls we wanted. The three rolls for two people were offered every day with no choice at all. One type of sausage, one type of cheese—just 3‑4 slices each, three slices of butter…for three rolls and a small bowl of jam on the table. No fruit, no vegetables, no other items that belong in a decent breakfast buffet. Nothing sweet, no fried or scrambled eggs—just a glaring omission. Only after asking on the second day did they serve a boiled egg. That can ruin a holiday. The coffee was so weak it barely came out of the pot. Terrible!
