“Bene ma non benissimo”

The location is very quiet and well situated, the pool is nice and breakfast is good. Even without air conditioning the room stayed cool thanks to the windows, high ceiling, and a ventilation fan. The bathroom is well maintained, large, and spotless. The lady running the place is very kind and helpful. However, there are too many pieces of furniture, decorations, and chairs that take up a lot of space that could be used for easier movement. At check‑in, although the staff were friendly, we weren’t given breakfast times and the bathroom lacked toilet paper and hand soap. The Wi‑Fi sign in the room had incorrect details, so we couldn’t use it (nothing dramatic).

“Wir fühlen uns um unser Geld betrogen!”

Nothing! I booked the place, the money was taken, and I received a confirmation email. But when we were standing outside in the evening, they told us there was no booking and they were fully booked, so they couldn’t help us. They gave us a bottle of water for consolation. I was then forwarded to the manager, who told me to submit a cancellation request so he could arrange a refund. I did that. Since then, even after further inquiries, I’ve received no response – and of course no refund. We had to find a new place late that night (and pay for it) because we couldn’t sleep in the car with four people and luggage. Booking says they also received no reply from the host and that because I filed my complaint “outside the booking period,” they couldn’t help me. I don’t like that the money is taken, I get a confirmation email, and then it’s said there’s no booking. And I never get my money back. I feel cheated.

“Iš bėdos tinkamas.”

Large garden and pool. It’s impossible to sleep in the room because of the heat, there’s no fridge. At night the whole garden is full of sparrows.
