The spot is perfect—right in the middle of Vail Village—yet the building’s under construction, especially the lobby, and the thermostat is locked at the front desk so my room stayed hot, forcing me to keep the window open all night, which aggravated my allergies; the TV was tiny and didn’t let me use YouTube or HBO.

The hotel sits in a nice area, and the room we used was spacious and spotless; however, there was no air conditioning, no fans, so I had to keep the windows open constantly, which didn’t give much cooling.

The location was fantastic, and the room was one of the cleanest I’ve seen while traveling, but I was surprised that parking wasn’t included and the mattresses were very uncomfortable.

The spot is great, but because renovations are happening, the lobby was messy—understandable given the construction.
