I liked the location—within walking distance to the malls, with a cozy feel and approachable staff. The room and its comfort were larger than the newer boutique hotels, and it had all the basics: a TV with YouTube, clean sheets and towels, quality toiletries, a fridge, kettle, coffee, plenty of hangers and shelves, plus breakfast included. A bonus was an FM radio for background music. After the submarine cable outage that slowed internet in Metro Manila, we experienced a sluggish Wi‑Fi connection during our stay.
