Borgobianco Resort & Spa Polignano

The resort is beautiful and quietly located, an authentic estate. From a distance you can see the deep‑blue Adriatic sea cutting sharply against the green olive trees and Mediterranean fields. The outdoor pool is gorgeous. The restaurant is delightful with excellent wines, and the room is spacious and well‑maintained. It didn’t feel like a 5‑star experience; there is more potential here. The offering is limited, and the hotel shows little enthusiasm to enhance your stay into a luxurious experience.

“A beautiful hotel with a warm heart”

This hotel feels like it has a heart; the staff go above and beyond to make your stay special. They were extremely helpful and genuinely interested in us, assisting with restaurant and beach club bookings. Their personal touch made my husband and I feel cared for. The location is on narrow country roads, which might be off the beaten track for some, but I felt it added to the peaceful vibe. Set among olive groves in rural Puglia yet close enough to the coast and the center of Polignano a Mare, the complimentary shuttle was perfect for traveling into town and back to the hotel.

The best hotel we’ve had in a long time—a huge farmhouse renovated beautifully. It’s the most indulgent hotel there is; they upgraded us to a lovely suite. The spa is very pampering—each room gets a private hour per day. The service is excellent; you must come back. Don’t miss it.

The hotel is stunning, and the staff—Parisa, Rebecca, Antonella, Massimo, Domenico, Saverio, Ana Maria, Luciano, both Francescos, and others I met but didn’t catch their names—were truly exceptional. They made our stay fabulous and felt like we were part of the family.
