“Hidden gem”
It’s beautiful, quiet and far from the city’s hustle and bustle, but it isn’t value for money. The staff are very friendly and the place is warm and inviting. You get your own private backyard if you choose the self‑catering option. But because we spent the weekend exploring the area, we didn’t spend much time at the manor, which ultimately makes it not value for money. But aside from all that it’s a beautifully kept gem. Because we explored, we only slept a few hours each night and didn’t experience the place fully, which makes it not a value for money to me. A full week stay is required to fully get that value for money.
