The staff treatment was horrible. I don’t understand how Booking still keeps putting reservations in this place.

“No estuve en el Caribbean, fui desviada al hotel Renacer y es de ese hotel que puse mi calificación”

I can’t give a review because when I arrived they told me there was no free room, they charged me, gave me a redirect card, and sent me to another hotel that isn’t the Caribbean Hotel and isn’t nearby. The *hotel Renacer* where they sent me had all the bad things… the receptionist said she would bring a towel to the room, I went down three times and she repeated the same thing… in the end I never got a towel and the clean clothes I wore were the only thing that let me dry; the room smelled so much of bleach that I had to open the door with the air on to ease the heavy odor that made me dizzy and I had to leave after a few hours… with all that, there was dust on the door of the closet that showed the mark of where a cloth had passed, almost black from there up, as well as the air conditioner that had once been white, was black from handling and accumulated dust… the air was icy, the only option was to turn it on or off, you couldn’t set a more pleasant temperature and with a thin blanket I spent the night shivering, wearing my clothes over the blanket to keep some heat; the same with the dark dust on the bathroom ceiling and the faucet dripping… it looked like it had been a long time, because there was a line of rust dropping from the faucet, created by time dripping in the same spot. The only thing I liked was that the tap and shower water had a perfect temperature, felt very comforting… as if it were the best spa in the world. That left a good impression; also it’s easy to park because they have private parking.

They locked the door in front of me and said there was no room, even though it was 1:00 am and I had no reservations. Nothing was kind, nothing empathetic, just no room. The whole place was dark and strange, and the service was terrible.
