“I am very disappointed and upset by the experience.”

The staff were friendly, but the building looked old and dirty. The bathroom tile was cracked and the fan didn’t work. The room’s air conditioning was broken and irregular all night. The pool heater was broken, and the hot tub had a big hairball floating in it. A dog barked from 2:00 to 2:45 AM and kids ran and screamed next door. My child found a blood stain on the sheets and was upset, only telling me later. Overall, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in decades. The photos were very deceptive. The hotel didn’t meet standards, so we left early. Extremely disappointing.

“Quick overnight stay”

Check‑in was easy, the vibe was friendly, and the room was nice with a back patio. The AC was oddly placed, breakfast was okay (burnt hard sausage, warm milk), and a barking dog was across from us.

“won't be back”

The beds were comfortable, but many things needed fixing or updating. Bathroom tiles were broken, the toilet seat was broken, the pool and hot tub weren’t working. Carpets were frayed, breakfast was mediocre. We saw the same garbage on the hallway floor for over 12 hours. It was hard to get out of the driveway to go anywhere. It wasn’t even close to the beach, and we had to walk a long way just to reach the elevator. We couldn’t find a luggage cart when we left.

“We were only there an hour and that was enough hell for us to never want to go back.”

The outside was pretty, but the pool had been broken for a while and the hotel never warned us before booking. The door to the handicap parking area was also broken. We tried to make the best of it, went up to our room to settle in, and when we left the room the door handle broke off inside. The staff was extremely rude. My husband and daughter went back upstairs to grab our things and got stuck in the room. A bigger older looking lady at the front desk said she was sending help but kept mocking me. After 15 minutes of waiting I went upstairs myself to let them out. The front desk lady kept telling me to wait outside while someone was coming. The whole experience was terrible. Once we left and found another room, we discovered that this place is a well‑known dirty, run‑down spot in that town and the staff are terrible. Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.

The location was fine and the room was comfortable, but the main problem was that the pool and hot tub, which were supposed to be operational, were shut down. I had my sister stop by before the cancellation date to confirm it would be working, and she was told it would be, but when I checked it was not. I was very unhappy with my stay this time.
