The location was ideal for the purpose of the stay, right across from the train station and easily reachable by public transport; restaurants, the city center, etc. were within walking distance, and the self‑check‑in worked smoothly. However, it was very inflexible and customer‑unfriendly that we couldn’t get a small breakfast delivered to the room. Context: I booked the room for my partner who had to check out early the next day for a business meeting at 6.20 am in Frauenfeld. I had asked in advance if it would be possible to have a roll, some butter, jam, etc. ready for the next morning. Nothing elaborate, just a small snack so he had something in his stomach. That request was simply denied with a standard response. After all, we had already paid for breakfast!

Breakfast had everything and was tasty, and the parking right beside the building was fantastic. The room was immaculately clean, huge, and even had complimentary bottled water on the table along with shampoo and other toiletries. We were four (two adults and two children) and could easily spend a week here; the self‑check‑in ran smoothly, and I’d book this place again if we return to the area. The only things that could improve are a climate‑control system and a smaller fridge, since it was noisy all night and we couldn’t keep the window open for long—some guests are light sleepers—but there was a fan available.
