The room was rustic and cozy, and we enjoyed the quietness a bit away from the main street. Breakfast was sufficient, served in the main house. The bathroom felt a little cramped.

The place was spacious and the breakfast was tidy. We especially appreciated the host’s willingness to help at check‑out; he apologized personally and kindly, and offered us a complimentary first night as compensation, which we valued. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness. We booked a budget double room in the annex and received a large, but clearly aged apartment. At arrival we noticed major cleaning issues: dirty floors, windows, shelves, heavily dusty bathrooms, stained upholstery, dust, dirt, and cobwebs under the beds. The sheets were especially unpleasant, smelling like old, foul‑smelling rag. After we complained, a larger alternative was offered, which had a nice layout, but we still found significant dirt: dirty dishes, soiled sheets, and unclean floors. The next day the original room was cleaned again. Some improvement was visible, yet many spots remained dirty, especially under the beds and in corners. We’re not opposed to older or simple décor, but cleanliness should be a given regardless of price. This area needs urgent improvement.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a family room outside the hotel, which was fine. The property is great, with a beautiful large garden where kids have plenty of play options. Overall location is top. Unfortunately, the Wi‑Fi didn’t reach our house and we couldn’t watch TV.

The accommodation was good, breakfast and staff were outstanding. We booked the LowBudgetRoom on the day of arrival, and the value for money was very strong; we’d come back anytime. However, because it was LowBudget, it turned out to be the oldest room in a farmhouse over a hundred years old 😁😁 The condition, especially of the bathroom, was not great.

The staff were very nice, and breakfast was good. Unfortunately, our room was very dirty. We found a butter cookie on the armchair. The floor was filthy. The shower drain was completely clogged. A lampshade from the dresser was missing.
