We specifically chose this hotel because it had a pool so we could relax after a long drive, but they told us we couldn't use it and gave no explanation. The weather was about +33 °C, and within five minutes we saw local Bulgarians swimming calmly in that same pool. The situation left a bad impression, seemed odd at best, maybe even discriminatory. The food was also very disappointing for the price; we expected much more. The room itself was pleasant, clean, and comfortable. Overall, our experience with the hotel was mixed.

The location was superb, the hotel featured a pool and a nice restaurant, and breakfast was served à la carte from their menu rather than a buffet. The surrounding area offered great eateries and the staff were very friendly. The bathroom included a bathtub, and the room had a smart TV with internet access. However, there were no double‑bed rooms; only single beds pushed together, which was extremely uncomfortable, and one of them even sank into a gap. The beds themselves were very comfortable.

The rooms were gorgeous, impeccably clean, roomy and comfy, and we really liked being able to speak English at reception. Breakfast wasn’t huge on variety, but it was plentiful and satisfying. Overall the lodging was very nice and cozy. We chose to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, but chatting in English with some waitstaff was tricky, and several times their facial expressions and reactions made us feel uneasy despite our polite approach. We also saw a lot of wasps near the pool, so we decided to skip swimming.
