I had an excellent adventure experience; the service was very good, the person who made the bed, the food, etc., were all fine, and the itinerary we followed was great. The food was average. The boat wasn’t very comfortable, but at least it was just the three of us. The bathroom had no water, so we had to bring buckets, and the shower produced very little water.

The surroundings are unique and the crew is a 10. You pay for a private klotok, and five days before arrival they tell you the boat broke and you have to share. Obviously nothing else is available, so they force you to go through the hoop. The three families we were with, who booked through us, experienced the same. Neither the accommodation nor booking compensate you for this change in conditions. You’re sold. In short, the crew is 10, but the property and the booking guarantee are very bad.

The experience is incredible. Sleeping two nights on the river with jungle sounds is impressive. The crew was charming, attentive to everything, the food was super good, snacks too, fresh towels when we returned from the jungle, and the beds were well prepared with full bedding and a mosquito net at night. They taught us many different wildlife species, one of the best experiences of our lives. Despite booking a 6-person boat, we were 12 people (though the group was great). The worst part is definitely the bathroom hygiene. There’s no cistern, so you have to dump buckets of water to get rid of it (it goes straight into the river), and the water they use comes from the river itself (which is very dirty). They had a small clean water tank where you could shower if you wanted (though it wasn’t enough for everyone, most didn’t shower that day), and you also have to deal with the 300 mosquitoes that live in the bathroom. We paid more than 500€ more than the other group, so the price seems a bit out of reach, but we would definitely do it again.

Everything was great; the staff was extremely kind, attentive to our requests, and very skilled. Riyan, the coordinator, was always available for any request at any time. I recommend the boat “SHANKARA,” which was new and very beautiful, the captain Popeye was excellent, Arsyad did everything with a smile, the cook Aisah was fantastic, and Rusmin, our guide, was excellent and polite. We will miss you. Nothing to add; the only tip is to keep the power on to charge electronic equipment even at night.
