“Soggiorno impeccabile!♥️”
The building was pretty, well equipped, had kids’ games inside, and the breakfast was very good and plentiful; the staff were truly top‑class—well done! I didn’t understand why I booked a hotel with a pool when they put me in the front part of the hotel instead.
“Per brevi soggiorni lo consiglio”
The spot was super close to the beach; breakfast was varied and plentiful, with friendly, helpful staff. The room’s cleanliness wasn’t always optimal; the decor felt a bit retro and sometimes impractical (the bathroom door wouldn’t close, the mirror was broken). I’d suggest adding fresh sandwiches to the breakfast menu along with the usual toast.
The hotel’s pool was a highlight. The bed’s slatted frame was broken, though.
“Niente male, esperienza da ripetere”
The hotel is split into a main building and a front-facing dependance where I stayed; the room was on the second floor, the bed was very comfortable, the AC worked well and it was quiet enough for night stays, and the cleanliness was decent with a 28" smart TV. The staff were simply excellent—very helpful, kind, and especially friendly! The pool was appropriately sized with two levels, one for kids and one for adults. The menu offered a good variety of meat and fish, and the antipasto was a nice touch for everyone. The hotel is about 100 m from the sea and close to Viale Dante, in a quiet area. Nearby there are many restaurants for those who want alternatives to the all‑inclusive plan. There’s also a kids’ area with synthetic grass at the main building, a bike service (including child seats), and a bar open 24 hours. The room’s soundproofing was a bit lacking, but in Riccione that’s tolerable. The closet was a bit small and there was no fridge (though I was told the main building rooms have one). The menu, while varied, was inconsistent—sometimes excellent, sometimes less so. The pool’s location relative to the building meant the water could be a bit cold, especially in the afternoon.
My stay at Hotel Consul was quite satisfying; the food every day was excellent and I’d gladly return, especially since the resort gives free access to the beach sections 135 and 136 and the pool with slides. The rooms aren’t exactly modern, but everything else more than makes up for it and the price‑performance ratio is solid.
