I liked the place when I left. Money was stolen from my bag while I slept after returning late from the hospital, and my speaker was taken too. The volunteer couple sleeping together in the dorm are probably the culprits. The place was cold and dark with bad energy.

The hostel was well located near the spots and the staff were friendly. The experience was terrible: after several days we were told the hostel had to close that very day with no clear explanation. When I returned, everything had already been dismantled, no relocation option was offered, and the manager seemed more concerned about his Booking rating than about his guests or staff. I had to book another place urgently and I’m still waiting for a refund for the unserved nights. The overall hygiene was poor; the kitchen and bathroom were often dirty. The shower head was broken and never replaced, so we showered with a hose.

I had a great surf lesson there with one of the instructors. The kitchen had pots and pans, which was nice, and the rooftop was a good spot to chill. The hostel itself was disappointing: the downstairs door stayed unlocked until very late, and many random strangers came up to smoke on the terrace at night even though they weren’t staying there. You weren’t given a key, so they just left it unlocked for anyone. It was super cold at night and we only received a small blanket with no sheet. The smell was unpleasant—like wet, moldy socks—and there were many wet socks in the common areas. There was no reception, and the welcome was a bit disorganized.

I was really disappointed with how filthy everything was; I avoided touching anything. The bathroom was appalling, the bathtub was covered in grime, and the toilet seat had stains from previous occupants. The kitchen sink was dark and the entire kitchen looked horribly dirty. The fridge had a strong odor that made me hesitant to store anything in it. It was cheap, but you’re better off adding a few euros and going elsewhere.
