“Nice stay with a good breakfast”

The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant itself was a pleasant experience, yet the chicken burger I ordered for dinner turned out to be dry and very chewy.

We were treated by a genuinely friendly waitress named Amelia at The Smithy, and the vegan fish and chips were a must‑try; the animals were so approachable that we even got to pet a deer. The only downside was that the room cost £140 a night, which felt like a good deal overall.

The rooms were unique and the restaurant offered a very calming atmosphere. The only issue was that the vegan breakfast I requested was not expanded when my daughter asked for items to be excluded, resulting in a very meagre meal.

The property is modern, comfortable, and set in a lovely environment, and I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about it.
