“Will recommend and stay again.”
My stay was very comfortable and convenient; the staff were friendly with great customer service. My room was clean and I slept very well. The bed and pillows were exceptional, and I loved that the window opened so I could enjoy a morning breeze. More outdoor seating would be nice—perhaps a bench or table and chairs away from the front door. I liked the stone bench in the foyer, but it would have been nice to have one outside the side doors to enjoy the sun and fresh air.
“Got the job done, but at $250/night, crazy over priced.”
The place is clean and pretty new, which is an advantage, and the breakfast far surpasses what you usually get at a breakfast‑included spot in the US. However, the room is chock full of LEDs everywhere, so we had to use all the towels in the bathroom to cover them because the room just can’t get dark at night. Our “suite” had a full‑size refrigerator, which I thought was a great idea until I had to sleep near it and it was loud. Coupled with the AC unit, the place was noisy, so I wouldn’t stay there again.
“Always a must when traveling through Madras”
The Bunk House is a must‑stay whenever we pass through Madras; it’s always a comfortable, rustic and charming place, and the breakfast is amazing.
“Great place to stay”
The hotel’s look and feel were great, but the location was far from the food options.
The facilities were in perfect condition and the staff were nice and helpful.
