The kitchenette was a plus, but everything else felt worn out and the heating didn’t work; luckily a small heater was handed to me.

The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the small kitchenette was clean; we arrived in the middle of the night and the room was ready with a note at the front desk directing us, though the carpet in the room was a bit off, otherwise everything was fine.

The location is convenient, close to the airport, and the hot breakfast is included, but it’s a bit pricey in the off‑season.

It’s an older cottage‑style motel next to a newer two‑story hotel in the same parking lot; the cottages lacked wheelchair curb cuts, which worried me until I saw the newer building, and the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful, and the owners being Chinese made my wife feel at home; the Canadian breakfast was good in a bright, clean area, and everything else was fine.

It’s close to downtown, but the check‑in clerk was not very personable, there were no electrical outlets so I had to unplug the TV and move the table to plug in the coffee maker, and there was no hair dryer; fortunately I brought an extension cord, so we could charge our devices.
