The place is spectacular; every decoration is top‑level, the vegetation is impressive, the rooms are luxurious, the food is delicious, and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The only thing I’d ask for is Kleenex in the rooms and more hooks to hang towels. Aside from that, everything met and exceeded our expectations.

The facilities were very good, but the restaurant service—especially at dinner when the front desk clerk and another woman handled it—was quite poor. Two hours after ordering dinner for the kids (and after multiple interactions with staff who kept saying the dinner “was about to be served”), we ended up going to Oxxo for sandwiches for the kids. The hotel food simply never arrived, and the kids ended up eating at 11 p.m.

They sell you a coffee refill while most hotels give free coffee, and there were cockroaches in the restaurant. They opened a machine that I think was for fumigation in the morning. I almost got an animal in my coffee; I literally pulled it out of my mouth.

Room, restaurant, and staff were very friendly. Everything was excellent.

It is a very pretty place, very well adapted to the sylvan environment. The staff lacks much training, is not very service‑oriented, and it’s noticeable that they don’t know the procedures.
