“Nice stay, but common sense with serving fresh drinks at the bar would be better”
The hotel’s renovation was impressive, especially the upgraded kitchen, bar, and lounge area. On Saturday, our first drink at the bar—apparently from the owner—was a Coke with Jack Daniels on ice, and I ordered top‑shelf tequila with soda, lime, and ice. The first sip of both drinks revealed they were flat; it felt like a real setback. It was appalling that the bartender used yesterday’s opened Coke just to save a few dollars, and the same with yesterday’s opened soda water, so we ended up spending nothing extra at the bar even though we had planned to spend a few hours there. The experience was disappointing.
