The Lakehouse gives a unique and charming vibe unlike any typical hotel, with English countryside‑style architecture, beautiful gardens, cool weather, and peaceful surroundings that made our stay very relaxing. The views over the hills and lake were wonderful, and the property has great character and history. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience felt warm, cozy, and memorable. It was the perfect escape from the city and a highlight of our Malaysia trip. The historic charm is lovely, but some room amenities could use minor updates; otherwise, there was little to dislike.
