The location is really great, and the freedom to wander into the woods, gather firewood, and roast marshmallows over your own fire in the evenings is fantastic, making for lovely nights; it's also nice that there are hooks on several windows so you can keep a window open at night. The beds are fine. However, the cottage is quite old, the veranda boards are rotted to the point where I thought you could walk through them, and it's very noisy; there's no dishwasher, and communication is difficult because the lady only speaks and understands Czech, and there's no way to make coffee.

The place was quiet and had everything we needed. The owner was really helpful whenever we asked for anything. It felt like a small, well‑kept hideaway.

“Kein Urlaub! Kalt ungemütlich und unhygienisch! Sorry für jeden Cent, möchte das Geld zurück!!!”

It did the job and there was a grill, but the hygiene left a lot to be desired. The bed was as hard as a board, the heating barely worked, and we only got two rolls of toilet paper for five people over three days. No vacation vibe at all, and spiders were everywhere.

“Absolutely not recommended”

The apartment sits right by a forest with lake views, lets dogs stay and was pleasantly warm. Unfortunately the floor was dirty, spider webs covered every corner, the bathroom mat was filthy, the dish rack and some cutlery were grimy, and both the pillows and the sofa were uncomfortable.
