“Agréable et calme”
The décor was very pretty, the living room stunning, the space and garden lovely. The breakfast area was much less pretty than the living room and a bit messy.

The breakfast was good, parking was safe, the room was lovely, and the host was friendly; nothing else to add.

Les Deux Margueritte feels like a beautifully restored country house in Ireland with high ceilings, small balconies, and a warm, relaxed vibe; our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and featured a separate toilet and a lovely bathroom; we received a complimentary drink after a long drive, parking was plentiful, the breakfast was nice and served in a stunning dining room, and we’d gladly return.

The place is fabulous and very central to the town centre, though maneuvering a large car through the gate requires careful slow driving; there are plenty of spaces, the building is a beautiful old structure, Building Manager Jean‑Michelle is helpful and accommodating, and proprietor Stéphane was also very pleasant; the facilities are comfortable and modern without compromising the building’s history; the room is large and very comfortable, making it an excellent base for a few days or a single night, especially since the town is lovely, just outside the gate and a left turn away—just a 5‑minute walk to the Centre Ville—on the way to the ferry in Cherbourg. The only issues were that I could only open one of the three windows, the air‑con was a bit erratic, and there was a slight ping from the drains the next morning; it’s an old building with no lift, so you go up a spiral staircase, and I didn’t see any fire or carbon‑monoxide alarms in the room.
