The direct beach location was great. There was no hot water and the menu selection was quite small.

Our favourite place on the trip! The accommodation was very basic, but clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it, and we felt so welcome by Sylvie and her family. The location was mind‑blowingly beautiful and the food at the restaurant was amazing. We watched them catch the fish straight from the beach in the morning, and then had it cooked for our lunch and dinner. Such a special, authentic place and definitely one of the highlights of our Vanuatu trip. There was no hot water in the shower, but that really didn’t matter.

Absolutely beautiful location. Mostly quiet with a great beach, good snorkeling, and a 10 minute walk to Champagne Beach. Perhaps a sun lounge or two would help, and a bit more variety for lunch options would be nice.

We really enjoyed our 8‑day stay here. Sylvie and her husband were very friendly and helpful. They listened to our wishes and reacted quickly, trying hard to make our stay as nice as possible. The food was fresh, delicious and local. The beach was beautiful and quiet, and our bungalow had a lovely view of the sea. The bungalow was simple, but for the price it was absolutely fine. There were some insects in the room, which is normal in a tropical place and not the hosts’ fault. When we asked them to remove a spider, they came and took care of it immediately. The free kayaks were a great bonus and perfect for snorkeling and exploring the beautiful bay. We loved playing with the kids. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

The bungalows were on a beautiful part of Santo, right near Champagne beach. We loved using the kayaks to go around the headland to reach it as well. Our bungalow was comfortable and cosy. We appreciated that mosquito nets were available, even though we didn’t see many bugs. The food cooked by Sylvie and her family was delicious, and they were always on hand if we needed anything. They have their own hire cars, which was very convenient and easy to sort, allowing us to see the rest of the island during our stay. It was an absolute pleasure chatting with Sylvie and her children, who love to kick a ball around! We hope to return in the future.
