The room was spacious, the parking was convenient, the staff were very friendly, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. However, the cleanliness was lacking: the bathroom had an unpleasant odor and hair on the floor, the minisplit made noise, and the breakfast was very poor in main dishes—at least they should have offered chilaquiles.

Having stayed at American Inn in Parral more than once, I can say it’s the ideal spot for an overnight stay. Parking right outside my room is a huge plus, and the next morning the hotel always serves hot coffee and a buffet breakfast before you hit the road again. If you’re aiming to stay in the historic center, this place works; if you want a solid night’s sleep, a hot shower, and a simple yet filling breakfast, American Inn is the better pick. You can still explore El Centro, it’s just a short ride from the hotel.
