The welcome was splendid – Jean and Alida are amazing, they made us feel at home. Our location was perfect in old Sliema, in a historic building. It’s not fair to say “what I didn’t like,” but I point out that a historic building needs renovations, so I hope they can proceed with the best possible restoration 🩷

The neighborhood and proximity to the sea were great. The bed was not comfortable. It was very noisy early in the morning. The room was hot and the air‑conditioning was poor. Breakfast was mediocre. It was far too expensive.

The hotel is basic but comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was perfect on a beautiful terrace. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. The area is convenient for visiting the whole island.

La posizione è molto buona, lo staff è gentilissimo e abbastanza bene anche la colazione, per quel che riguarda la camera non era grande ma accogliente e il bagno è stato ristrutturato quindi funziona bene. Se si prenota in questo hotel bisogna tenere presente che è un edificio di oltre 100 anni con vincoli di tutela per cui presenta delle criticità. La mia stanza la 23 si raggiunge tramite una scala a chiocciola molto angusta in un androne molto umido che fa arrivare in stanza un po' di odore di muffa, situazione migliorata col passare dei giorni tenendo il più possibile la portafinestra aperta. Per completezza devo dire che mi avevano proposto di cambiare stanza ma mia moglie ed io abbiamo deciso di rimanere li perché comunque non era un grande disagio
