The beds are very comfortable, the area is quiet and well connected by city bus, with several supermarkets nearby and eateries just a short walk away; the staff are friendly and you can get a free coffee from the machine at reception. The room was clean but somewhat neglected: the walls were painted but the ceiling was left unpainted, and there were paint residues in the bathroom. The shower was impossible to use properly, either cold or boiling hot; moving the faucet a millimetre would burn you.

“The bed was comfortable”

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the green surroundings made it feel like a forest. However, the bedroom décor and the building are old and need modernisation; the TV is very outdated with poor image, and the shower water was so hot that a proper shower was impossible—when I tried to lower the temperature, the flow was very weak. I booked a room with twin beds but the records showed a double bed for me and my daughter. The accommodation is overpriced, charging the same rate as a 4/5‑star modern hotel.

“Cardiff half marathon”

Staff so friendly and helpful Fatima one of the girls and all staff I met were so nice. The up keep outside grass needs cutting painting around and gap in the door going into accommodation
