“The staff/ owners were excellent , I would definitely stay again if I could get a balcony room”
The spot is perfect for a two‑night island visit, close to the ferry and restaurants, but we were on the top floor, which meant a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the air‑conditioning kept breaking down.

Hotel Glavovic sits at the best spot on Lopud, just steps from the harbor with a stunning view of the bay and nearby islands. The sand beach right in front of the hotel let me swim early every morning, which was fantastic! The place feels a bit old‑school, but that doesn’t matter; the staff feels like family and they serve the best ice cream on the island!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Glavović and could not recommend it more! The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Lopud, steps from the port, with direct beach access and the most beautiful sea views in town. The breakfast was wonderful, and the restaurant was fantastic. We had some of the best meat we’ve ever had and would highly recommend dining here! Most of all, we want to thank the owners, Ivana and Ljubo, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They gave us wonderful recommendations around the island and truly made us feel like special guests. A beautiful hotel, an amazing location, incredible food, and the warmest hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and cannot recommend Hotel Glavović enough! ❤️🇭🇷
“Authentic”
The view from the shuttered windows on the top floor is breathtaking, especially with sparrows flying at sunset—so nice! If you’re after something authentic, this is the stay for you; everything works and the essentials—bed, sheets, pillows—are great. The authenticity does mean the interior isn’t new or flashy, though.
