“They are rude, dishonest people.”

The room wasn’t large enough. The bathroom floods when you shower. I didn’t get enough food for breakfast. They packed breakfast as a takeaway for someone (not sure if it was a guest) while I was still standing there, so I missed some items. They don’t refill the food once it’s gone. Once the food is in the chafing dish, it isn’t heated. You’ll get cold food if you wait. The reception staff aren’t professional or logical. A foreigner has to pay cash or swipe their card. They can’t accept an equivalent of the USD amount in Burundi Francs, which isn’t mentioned elsewhere. So just be aware. They also don’t accept online payment on site. I had to cut my stay short. I paid 90 USD, but they sent me a receipt for 60 USD.

They made my stay very comfortable. Great service, very nice food, and the place felt very homely. I loved it.

“Generally speaking, the whole facility and services are good enough to cause me stay there more time”

The location is very good, and the staff are professional and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and there was warm water. The electricity keeps turning on and off, which messes up the Wi‑Fi. Also, paying in dollars, in my opinion, doesn’t support the national economy. I didn’t like the slow catering services; at the restaurant it takes an unnecessary amount of time to be served.

The food in the restaurant was good and the staff were friendly, but the water pressure on the 3rd floor was very low in room 310, leaving only a tiny stream of hot water, and the air‑conditioning made a lot of noise. The restaurant felt quite warm, so a few fans would have helped.

“Overall experience was good. The hotel staff are friendly; hotel is in a quiet & safe neighbourhood.”

The fruit was fresh, organic, and tasted amazing, and the freshly squeezed pineapple juice and Dawa tea are a must‑try. The rooms in the outer building could use simple upgrades or a deep steam cleaning, and the shower curtain had turned off‑white with suspicious brown stains.
