A large, luxurious guesthouse in the mountains, 50 km from Marrakech. If you need seclusion, this is for you—big rooms, comfortable beds, a sizable but shallow pool, and an enormous olive grove. Breakfast offers a variety of pastries and coffee/tea. The staff are relaxed but try to fulfill requests. The main issue is poor Wi‑Fi, though sometimes that’s a plus. We stayed two days and were surprised the room wasn’t cleaned, trash wasn’t taken out, and towels weren’t replaced. The house doesn’t sell beer or other alcohol, and the nearest shop is 50 km away. We had a bottle of white wine, so we happily drank a glass while watching the sunset.

The place is exceptional—everything was perfect, from the setting and meals to the kindness and generosity of the owners and staff. You can go there with your eyes closed. Nothing was lacking; everything was great.
